VILLA EFFIE is a stone-built traditional mansion built in the Medieval town of Chora on Patmos island. It is located in the town's main square, nearby the island's City Hall and offers panoramic views over the port of Scala and the Aegean sea. The house is situated just a few meters from the monastery (a castle in reality) of St. John the Theologician. The castle was built in 1088 A.C. and it impressively imposes itself both physically and spiritually, over the whole island. The house is at a distance of 3,5 kms from the island's port where you will find frequent trasport to and from Chora.
It can sleep a family or a group of 4-6 persons.
It is built on two floors and decorated according to the local tradition. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms (with double beds each), a mezzanine which has been transformed into a third bedroom (with two single beds) and a bathroom. On the ground floor there is a spacious living-dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and another bathroom. The house's beautiful yard with its panoramic views all over Scala port and the Aegean sea, is ideal for enjoying your holidays!
